Judy Cook, House Concert and Song-Sharing

Takoma Park, MD, Saturday, April 13, 3:00 pm 

Judy Cook has delighted audiences with her skillful presentation of a large repertoire of songs and her obvious love for them for well over 20 years.  She and her husband Dennis were mainstays of FSGW for many years, even taking on leadership roles in our organization. On Sunday, April 13, Judy will be returning to FSGW for a house concert featuring some of her favorite songs at Kathie Mack’s home in Takoma Park.  Expect songs of strong women, of cowboys, soldiers and sailors, and of quirky animals.  There will be great stories in song, and plenty of choruses. Dennis Cook will be adding his harmonies to a number of Judy’s songs.  After the concert there will be a short break followed by a time to share songs in an open sing.
