   International Folk Dancing (Glen Echo)

co-sponsored by FSGW and the World Music and Dance Institute, programmed by Dancing Planet Productions

IN PERSON DANCES HAVE RESUMED - classes are streamed live over Zoom when possible.

The Glen Echo Folkdancers (formerly Foggy Bottom Folkdancers) first started in 1983. In January 2020, we moved to Glen Echo Park. We provide a very welcoming atmosphere, lots of great music and dancing, occasional parties (sometimes with live music), and, most importantly, great people to share an evening with. Plan to have a wonderful time, learn some dances, listen to some wild music, and meet some new friends. No partner is necessary. No skill is needed. Dress comfortably. If you would like to be added to our email list and receive notices of upcoming events, please email Jamie.
