Bruce Sagan (Gudulka), Valeri Georgiev (Kaval), Len Newman (Tambura) & Larry Weiner (Tupan) will provide the music for an evening of acoustic Bulgarian folk dance music. Bulgarian folk tunes are known for their complex rhythms, asymmetrical meters, melodic ornamentation, and unique harmony.
As the evening progresses, Bruce Sagan will also be playing a short set of Scandinavian dance tunes (Bruce is also an excellent fiddler).
