ABOUT OUR TELLERS:

Rachelle Dart grew up on stories. Mythology was woven into the foundations, folklore on the walls like vines, fairy tales dancing through the air, and history walked the hall. Dart is performer and a traditional storyteller trained by Liz Weir, MBE. Still thriving on stories, Dart is inspired by characters who endure hardship, magical helpers, gritty truths, and even if there is no happily ever after, remind us to be decent to each other; kindness prevails. More about Rachelle

Chrissy Dart loves telling all sorts of stories, but her favorites are folktales, legends, and myths. As of late, working with stories has kept her sane and grounded. She teaches Multi-Cultural Folktales for the Storytelling Institute at South Mountain Community College in Phoenix, Arizona, and T’ai Chi for the Muhammed Ali Parkinson Center, discovering that the two arts, have much in common. They both help a person to discover what it means to be human.
