General information on the Silver Spring Contra Dance
Andrea Nettleton will have you up on your feet in no time at all to the wonderful music provided by the incredible sound of Frog Hammer. Frog Hammer plays high energy music from the English ceilidh tradition. The band features Glyn Collinson (bouzouki, vocals, and guitar), Andrew Marcus (piano and accordion), David Casserly (sax and vocals), Michael Ferguson (trombone), Bob Collins (drums), and Jim Besser (Anglo concertina). A free beginners workshop will be from 7:00 to 7:30.
