Virtuoso blues/roots guitarist Martin Grosswendt returns with Susanne Salem-Schatz — “soulful blues singer one minute, sassy honky-tonk gal the next” —and a rich repertoire of “American roots, early blues, old time, honky tonk” that pleased a packed crowd at Archie’s Barbershop last year. Their 2015 CD Old Songs, New Hats launched them as a duo after they had performed together in a honkytonk and Western swing band in Boston.
