Philadelphian Scott Higgs is nationally and internationally known for his calling skill and delightful choreography. His focus is on joyful dancing, blending elegance and exuberance. We'll explore both new and time-tested English dances with this innovative and dynamic caller.
For more than 30 years, Hold the Mustard has been a mainstay of both English Country and contra dance. Musicians are Kathy Talvitie (piano), Barbara Greenberg (violin), Daniel Beerbohm (clarinet, flute, saxophone, whistles), and Paul Prestopino (all manner of fretted instruments, plus harmonica and recorder). Their inventive arrangements and skillful playing make each dance a delight.
NOTE: We thank Liz Donaldson, who will be filling in on piano for Kathy Talvitie, due to illness.
We expect this event to sell out. Buy your tickets early using Brown Paper Tickets, or mail in the registration form on this flyer.
