Dick Weissman and his banjo were part of the American folk revival of the 1960s, when he played with Scott McKenzie and John Phillips as the Journeymen and performed with Happy Traum, jammed with Rev. Gary Davis, and opened for Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee. He is touring in support of his 13th book, just released: The Music Never Stops: A Musical Journey with the Unknown, the Forgotten, the Rich and the Famous. He is also the author of 100 Books Every Folk Fan Should Own; Talkin' 'Bout a Revolution: Music and Social Change in America; Which Side Are You On? An Inside History of the Folk Music Revival in America; and instructional books about the music business, banjo, and guitar.
