6:30 - 8:00 assemble, talk, learn (practicum begins promptly at 7:00)
8:00 - 9:30 Dance - Live music
9:30 - 10:15 Challenge Dance - Live music
The callers Practicum is an eight week series to work on calling - it is for callers with a limited amount of experience or more - the first part of the evening will be working and work-shopping, the second part will be dancing and practice, the third part is to workshop advanced dances and trouble shoot tricky situations. The eight sessions will be four Contra, two English Country Dance, one Squares, one Family Dances.
Dancers are encouraged to arrive by 8 (welcome earlier); this is a workshop, so there may be some rough spots. Attendance is free for dancers.
Cost to Callers: $80 for the whole series; $40 for callers under 35.
Please let me know if you are interested in a meal plan - as the timing can be tight for the traditionally employed - we don't want you hungry (dancers too)
