Vidar Skrede hails from Haugesund, Norway, and plays hardanger fiddle, guitar and Greek bouzouki. Violinist Sara Pajunen hails from Minneapolis but earned a music degree in Finland and was the Finlandia Foundation Performer of the Year in 2015-16. Together as The Newlands Co-op, they present the traditional music of Norway and Finland "brought to these new lands by one immigrant or another. ?
