The Great American Square Dance Revival - Part XVIII

  • 06 Apr 2013
  • 8:30 PM - 11:30 PM
  • St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Washington, DC
Friends, it's almost cherry blossom time - springtime! - and that's cause for celebration! Come dance with us to ring in this most beautiful of seasons in our dear city.

We'll have the wonderful Pete LaBerge in town to call the dances - he's coming all the way up from South Carolina to see what all this DC Square Dance fuss is about. The Hot Seats, a most fabulous string band based in Virginia, will provide the sweet old-time tunes -- that's Graham DeZarn on fiddle, Josh Bearman on banjo & mandolin, Ed Brogan on guitar, Jake Sellers on percussion, and extra special guest Sabra Guzman on bass.

Extra! We'll have letterpressed posters for sale for $5, designed and printed by Collective member Cynthia Connolly. So bring a few extra dollars along with a water bottle and drinks/snacks to share.
