The Great American Square Dance Revival - Part XII

  • 25 Aug 2012
  • 8:30 PM - 11:30 PM
  • St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Washington, DC
Hey DC! Come celebrate the waning days of the summer with us at the Great American Square Dance Revival. Put on your shoes and pull a pretty Polly or any old Joe onto the dance floor Saturday!

No experience needed! All the dances will be taught and called by our very own Janine Smith, with old-time supergroup, the Capital City Possum Chasers, providing the sweet tunes. (That's Paul Brown on fiddle, Brent Feito on banjo, Kevin Enoch on bass and John Schwab on guitar. Oh yes.)

No partner or costume required - just bring $5 to help us pay the band and the hall. Optional: a drink or snack to share, potluck-style, and a water bottle.

Folks from outside the neighborhood, we recommend taking the metro! St. Stephens is a short walk from the Columbia Heights station on the green line.
