Visiting from the Chicago Barn Dance scene, Tom Senior calls with Hu$money,a new northeast Ohio contradance band. David Rice: Harmonica, Guitar, Fiddle -- Tina Bergmann: Hammered Dulcimer, Guitar, Dumbek -- Heather Malyuk: Guitar, Fiddle -- Bryan Thomas: Bass, Chank-O-Matic 6000.

 Spawned from the ashes of the dance band institution Strings & Things. Original members of 26 years, Tina Bergmann (hammered dulcimer, guitar, vocals, dumbek) and David Rice (harmonica, fiddle, guitar) are joined by Heather Malyuk (guitar, fiddle) and Bryan Thomas (bass, foot percussion). Hu$hmoney's collective musical experience encompasses American old time, Celtic, Scottish, Puerto Rican, African, Cuban, classical and blues traditions. With their feet rooted in tradition, Hu$hmoney explores these traditions while creating driving, surprising, and varied takes on old time standards, ethnic melodies, and original
