Yes, the Open Sing will be held on the 2nd Friday, to avoid New Years Day.
The January Open Sing will be held on Friday, January 8th (Yes, the SECOND Friday), at the home of Nancy King, 3312 Glenway Drive, Kensington MD 20895-2213. The topic will be:
"Writing and the Written Word: songs about (or merely mentioning) notes, letters, books, sentences ("the judge he passed the sentence and the clerk he wrote it down"), messages, dissertations, etc., etc."
