Intermediate Level Old-Time Fiddle Workshop from 1:00 to 3:00 pm ($35)Intermediate Clawhammer Banjo Workshop from 3:30 to 5:30 pm ($35)Rachel Eddy will step out from the Rock Farmers (debuting as part of the Spring Dance Weekend) to teach workshops on fiddle and banjo the following Sunday. An old-time singer and award-winning multi-instrumentalist, Rachel has been a full-time music teacher and performer all her adult life. She recently moved from West Virginia to Nashville to record her new CD, after working with the Morgantown Rounders, the Woodticks, Stewed Mulligan and in a trio with Adam Hurt and Abe Folmsbee.The workshops will be Sunday, April 20 in Room 202 on the second floor of the North Arcade at Glen Echo Park (above the "Popcorn" sign). Rachel will teach intermediate level old-time fiddle from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, and intermediate clawhammer banjo from 3:30 to 5:30 pm. Either workshop costs $35.
