IONA (Special Event)

Cream of the Celtic Crop FSGW is proud to present IONA in concert at The Lyceum, 201 S. Washington St., in Old Town Alexandria. Winner of a 2006 Washington Area Music Award, IONA will treat you to Scottish fiddling, driving percussion, and strong vocals. IONA celebrates the music and dance of Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Cornwall, the Isle of Man, Brittany, Galicia, and that other Celtic country, America ? which is both the repository of these cultural influences, and the progenitor of its own.
