Too Hot Mamas call with The Avant Gardeners (Sunday Contra)

This is a special Singing Squares event with the Amazing Duo Janine Smith and Susan Taylor calling to the fabulous music of The Avant Gardeners. Susan and Janine wowed them at NEFFA this year, and they have taken their show on the road. They will be finishing up their tour at their home dance here at Glen Echo, so come out for a delightful evening of finely honed dances (yes, contras, too!)and harmonies. The Avant Gardeners, one of the region's premier Contra Dance Bands consists of Laura Light (fiddle), George Paul (piano, accordion, percussion), and Dan Sebring (fiddle, mandolin, guitar) and possibly a cast of thousands more.
