Scott Higgs calls with House Red (Sunday Contra)

From Philidelphia, the talented Scott Higgs returns after a long hiatus to call to the high energy contra dance band House Red. Scott is one of the most wonderful dance teachers out there, and has been calling for many years. The band plays energetic, driving dance music to make you wanna move! The trio is from Charlottesville, VA -- though Owen is now based in Nashville, and features the talents of the young virtuoso (he grew up with this stuff!) Owen Morrison on guitars and mandolin, the soulful and precise pianist Shawn Brenneman, and the driving fiddling of Jonathan Thielen. These guys are as tight as it gets, playing in a variety of styles, and the energy for DANCING DOES NOT GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS.
