Ridge Kennedy calls with The Evil Twins (Sunday Contra)
When
13 Aug 2006
7:30 PM - 10:30 PM
Location
Glen Echo Park Bumper Car Pavilion, Glen Echo, MD
From New Jersey, Ridge Kennedy makes his return to call to the Evil Twins. The Evil Twins are a nationally known duo featuring the talents of one of our local treasures. Based in DC, David Knight is one of the countries pre-eminent Scottish style fiddlers. His "twin" (hmmm....), from Swananoa, NC is the pianist, fiddler, drummer (and plays anything else she can get her hands on) Laurie Fisher and has been entertaining contra dancers full time for the past 14 years. This is a rare treat to have her talents showcased at Glen Echo.
