Blues Roots for Fingerstyle Guitar, Steve JamesThe emphasis here will be on compact, bluesy, melodic arrangements. Steve will demonstrate alternating and walking bass lines, syncopated thumb-and-finger picking, blues inflected phrasing and useful chord inversions from his own extensive song bag and the repetoires of past masters. Bring your guitar and accessories, a notebook and pencil, and a portable sound recording device if you like.
