Robbin Schaffer calls with The Contra Rebels (Sunday Contra)
When
05 Feb 2006
7:30 PM - 10:30 PM
Location
Glen Echo Park Spanish Ballroom, Glen Echo, MD
Robbin Schaffer will be calling contras and squares to the tunes of the Contra Rebels. Having just completed a tour of the southland, these stalwarts of the Glen Echo dance returns to play their mix of traditions. From Old Time to the northern sounds of New England, french Canadian and the Celtic traditions, these folks are a treat to dance to. From York County and Harrisburg, PA: Todd Clewell will be playing fiddle, Henry Koretzky on guitar, and Glenn Carson on banjo, mandolin and fiddle. http://www.toddclewell.com/rebels.html
