Eva Murray calls with Laura and The Lava Lamps (Sunday Contra)
When
27 Nov 2005
7:30 PM - 10:30 PM
Location
Glen Echo Park Spanish Ballroom, Glen Echo, MD
Glen Echo favorites Laura and The Lava Lamps with Eva Murray calling. Laura would be Laura Lengnick on fiddle, and her Lava Lamps would be Dave Wiesler on piano and guitar and perennial favorite Ralph Gordon on bass. Laura delights dancers with her jazz-inspired improvisations on dance tunes from the Northern, Southern and Celtic fiddling traditions. Dave has a national reputation for his ability to create dance magic with his sensitive and powerful backup in a wide variety of dance styles. Ralph, more than just a Glen Echo regular, renowned for his command of varied musical styles and technical perfection, provides a solid foundation for the trio with his exquisite sense of timing and rhythmic feel. http://www.lauraandthelavalamps.com/
