Liz Donaldson calls with David Knight, Danny Noveck, and Kenny Lewis (Sunday Contra)
When
13 Nov 2005
7:30 PM - 10:30 PM
Location
Glen Echo Park Bumper Car Pavilion, Glen Echo, MD
Our own Liz Donaldson will be calling to the tunes of local treasure, fiddler David Knight, with Danny Noveck on guitar and Captain Kenny Lewis on percussion. David has been delighting us for years with his energetic style of Scottish fiddling, most notably with Waverley Station, and Danny has been in the Irish and contra scene for many years, notably in the dance mecca of Western Massachusetts. Kenny, new to contra, will energize us with his feel for Jazz and Caribbean rhythms. Liz promises us a night of terrific dances, with an homage to the late and great Ted Senella.
