Khanci Dos (Special Event)

Music of the Roma (Gypsies), cosponsored with the Washington Revels. Khanci Dos combines the cultures and musical traditions of the three main Roma/Gypsy groups living in Hungary: the Romungro, Vlach and Boyash Roma. Formed in 1987 at Nagtecsed (North Eastern Hungary), they first interpreted the songs of the local Romania community.
