Vic Gammon (Special Event)

Scholar and Performer of British MusicVic Gammon, scholar and popular performer, was a member of the classic English folk band -- Etchingham Steam Band (with Ashley Hutchings and Shirley Collins) -- and the creator of the classic recording Tale of Ale, a history of the English and their ale in song. Vic has written and produced works on the whole gamut of English traditional music, church bands, dance bands, ballads, traditional singing styles, etc. He also plays melodeon, concertina and banjo.
