Come celebrate the 20th anniversary Chesapeake Dance Weekend, April 12-14, 2002, with an outstanding staff and a wonderful mix of music and dance styles, workshops, great food, and all-around high-energy enjoyment. This year's program includes Double Date (Becky Tracy, fiddle; Keith Murphy, guitar and foot percussion; David Cantieni, woodwinds; and Ann Percival, piano and guitar) and The Critton Hollow String Band (Sam Hermann, hammered dulcimer; Joe Hermann, fiddle; and Joe Fallon, banjoand guitar). Calling contras and squares with these respective bands will be Lisa Greenleaf and Kathy Anderson. Also, John Bartholomew, accompanied by virtuosos Andrea Hoag and Jacqueline Schwab, will teach much-requested workshops in waltz and Scandinavian couple dances.FSGW's Chesapeake Dance Weekend takes place at Camp Letts in Edgewater, Maryland (near Annapolis). Dance on a fine wood floor by the shore of the beautiful South River. Enjoy daytime dance and music workshops, and spend the evenings dancing rousing contras and squares. Download the Chesapeake Dance Weekend flyer for more information and an application. To Register, print and fill out the Flyer, mail it in with a check.
