ONE OF THE FOUNDERS of the FSGW, formerly the head of the Archive of Folk Song, retired from the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress, Joe Hickerson is a 'folk-singer's folk-singer.' A true paleo-acoustic traditionalist, he may well have researched more American folk songs than any other person alive. He also wrote the last two verses of 'Where Have All the Flowers Gone,' turning it into a complete circle. He'll bring along his Southpaw guitar and dip into his trove of songs and remembrances for a memorable program.
