GROOVEMAMA! - Dance your blues away to their rockin' contra rhythms and come out with a smile on your face! Groovemama is a sychronous combination of dance, music, songs and insight. This is more than a dance duo plus a caller. These three masters will they fly you straight to contradance heaven! Here's who they are: Liza Constable's guitar chops put her in the category of major dance talent, with a groove solid as a rock. A master of understatedly intense vocal styling, Liza's smooth, elegant voice gets beneath the lyric to the deeper meaning in the words. Liza also teaches music in NH elementary schools. Donna Hébert's fiddling is a rhythm machine that won't quit, and she's an untiring ambassador for great tune settings. She has also absorbed the music of her Franco-American heritage and loves to share it. Beth Molaro has been calling since 1992; her quick, no-nonsense walk-throughs and effective teaching lower the learning curve. She calls high energy dances specializing in rip-roaring squares and contras that make you go ahhhhhhhh.
