Sunday Afternoon Dancing Planet Contra Dance
Intro lesson at 2:30pm, dance from 3-6pm in the Bumper Car Pavilion at Glen Echo Park, MD.
An epic evening featuring contra dance's original groove band, Laura and the Lava Lamps and the extraordinary calling of Beth Molaro! Don't miss this rare opportunity to dance to the music of contra dance veterans Laura Lengnick (fiddle), Dave Wiesler (piano) and Ralph Gordon (bass), joined by special guest Tory Horner (fiddle), a rising star in the contra dance world. Together they will fire up the dance floor in the search for a primordial groove in perpetual motion. Invite a friend or two and come on out for this dance. You will be glad you did!
