The Grapevine is spoken word performance for adults and teens, celebrating the timeless art of the story, hosted by storytellers Renée Brachfeld and Tim Livengood.

Milbre Burch is a storyteller in every sense of the word. She has been featured at festivals across America, in Europe, and Asia, and is an accidental archivist of the American storytelling revival. Milbre is a GRAMMY-nominated recording artist, a nationally known touring and teaching artist, a published writer and produced playwright. Elizabeth McCain believes that storytelling heals hearts, builds community, and changes the world. She is the author of the memoir, A Lesbian Belle Tells OUTrageous Southern Stories of Family, Loss, and Love. Elizabeth’s award-winning solo show, “A Lesbian Belle Tells”, has appeared in Fringe Festivals, Queer Theater Festivals, arts festivals, and at government agencies, retreats, and house concerts in this area and throughout the South.
