Church of the Ascension and FSGW (both represented by our own distinguished Irish folklorist Lisa Null) present a special lineup of Irish-Appalachian fusion musicians: Claudine Langille on tenor banjo, mandolin, and vocals, and Zan McLeod on guitar, both formerly of Touchstone; Cora McGovern, visiting from Ireland, on piano, flute, and whistle; Bob Vasile of the Pratie Heads, from North Carolina, on bouzouki, banjo, and guitar; and Fiddlin’ Al McCanless, of the Red Clay Ramblers and New Deal String Band.
