Kappy Laning and Organic Family Band (Co-Sponsored Dance)

This month's dance will take place at Potomac Community Center at 11315 Falls Road, Potomac, MD. We are enjoying this opportunity to bring Contra Dancing to other communities in Montgomery County and the greater DC area. NOTE: The dance will be back at the Silver Spring Civic Building in January.

Featured on November 10 will be THE ORGANIC FAMILY BAND and Dance Caller: KAPPY LANING. We hope you will join us.

The Organic Family Band is comprised of parents Judith and Michael and their two children, Jakob (age 16) and Rebekah (11). They play a variety of fiddle music: Rags, Irish, Blues & Klezmer, and have performed at The Baltimore Folk Music Society Spring Festival, Glen Echo's Friday Night Dance, and Glen Echo/FSGW's Sunday night dance -- to rave reviews!

NOTE: The December dance will be at the wonderful Ballroom Blum
