October Gospel Sing--NOTE CHANGED LOCATION

The October sing will take place this coming Sunday the 8th at the home of Arlene Rodenbeck & Rick Morgan. Rick and Arlene have moved to 409 Ethan Allen Avenue (AKA East-West Highway; AKA ​MD​ 410), Takoma Park, MD. The house is a brown bungalow between New Hampshire Avenue and Carroll Avenue on the south side of the street near the stop sign at Jackson Avenue. Their driveway holds about 7 cars if parked tightly. You may also use the driveway for the blue house to access Rick and Arlene's parking area, but DON'T PARK on th​e asphalt driveway. If the parking area is full or you need to leave early, we suggest parking on Jackson Avenue. Cross Ethan Allen in the crosswalk at the stop sign.

 

If you take the subway, get off at the Takoma Station and take the RideOn #16 bus ​to Ethan Allen & Jackson. The #16 runs every 15 minutes ​on the quarter hour​.​ Walk a few feet east to 409 Ethan Allen.​

As usual, we will meet at 4:00pm for group singing until 6:00pm, then break for a potluck dinner, with more singing afterwards until 8:00pm. The usual collection of hymnals and song sheets will be there, and new ideas are welcome for songs we can all sing together.

I hope to see/hear you this coming Sunday. Come for a little while or come for the whole time!
