Tret Fure (Special Event)

Cosponsored by Church of the Ascension and FSGW: In a songwriting and performing career of 48 years and counting, Tret Fure has released 15 albums -- including three as a duo with Cris Williamson. She received the Jane Schliessman Award for Outstanding Contributions to Women's Music and was voted Pride In the Arts Favorite Female/Lesbian Musician in 2009. Her song Freedom hit #1 on the OutVoice.net music charts. She is also a president emeritus of Local 1000 of the American Federation of Musicians.
