An award-winning documentary film with a presentation by creators Danny Knicely and Tara Linhardt and with Nepalese musicians. The film follows the journey of Tara and Danny, two traditional musicians, from the hills of Virginia to the mountains of rural Nepal, where they explore the extraordinary connections between Appalachian and Himalayan folk music and culture. The film premiered at the National Geographic Society in 2009. The Mountain Film Festival in Mammoth, California gave the film a "Sierra Nevada" award and it was voted the best independent documentary film at the Carolina Film & Video Festival.
