Ed Miller has been hailed as "one of the finest singers to come out of the Scottish Folksong Revival" and as "one of Scotland's best singing exports." Originally from Edinburgh, Scotland, Ed knows Scottish folk music from the ?inside-out;? he combines a Ph.D. in Folklore with an encyclopedic knowledge of the Scottish physical and cultural landscape. Ed, who now lives in Austin, Texas, leads tours to Scotland that introduce participants to the heartland of Scottish songs. He is also a radio personality, the host of "Across the Water" on Austin's NPR station, KUT-FM.

Ed?s performances combine his mellow, baritone voice, captivating guitar style and humorous delivery with his exacting scholarship and deep insight and love for his material. It?s a combination that few can resist!
