  • 21 Jan 2012
  • 8:30 PM - 11:30 PM
  • St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Washington, DC
Saturday Morning News Flash....this thang is ON, yep, there's a bit o'snow and all but nothin' gonna stop us from havin' our Square Dance Party!

Whoop & holler! It's square dance time! What better way to start the new year than with some old-time music and dancing? No better way. So join us to breathe new life into some old traditions.

Joe Overton & Friends: Chloe Edmonstone (fiddle), Joe Overton (banjo), Joshua Vana (guitar), and Sabra Guzman (bass) will be joining us from Charlottesville, VA to play the tunes, and we'll have our own most favorite Janine Smith calling the figures.

Admission is just $5. No partner, experience, or costume required. All the dances will be taught and called, so you can learn everything you need to know right on the spot.

Directions: we recommend taking the metro to Columbia Heights. Folks driving in can usually find street parking, or there is a parking garage on Park Rd just west of 14th St, under the big shopping mall.
