Folk Singer, Songmaker, Activist

Noted folk singer, songmaker, and activist Peggy Seeger is considered one of North America?s finest female folk singers. She is well-known as Pete Seeger?s half-sister, Mike Seeger?s sister, composer Ruth Crawford Seeger?s daughter, and widow of Ewan MacColl. She and MacColl were instrumental in the UK folk revival of the sixties.

Now, Peggy is bidding farewell to America as she plans to resettle back in the UK. We look forward to celebrating her work, which includes much traditional song, her own brilliant compositions, twenty-two solo albums and more than one hundred recordings with other artists. www.peggyseeger.com
