When
26 Jun 2009
8:00 PM - 10:30 PM
Location
Home of Karen Helbrecht, Alexandria, VA
The Syncopaths are a vibrant West Coast band offering a fresh, contemporary take on Celtic music. Fiddler Ryan McKasson, pianist Jeffrey Spero, bodhran player and vocalist Christa Burch and multi- instrumentalist Bill Flores make up this energetic and inventive quartet. That's what their website says. Having told you they are "contemporary Celtic" every New Age stereotype that just came into your head is wrong. But you'll need to hear them to find out just how wrong you are. Trust us on this one!The concert is at the Helbrecht/Johnston's in the Del Ray neighborhood of Alexandria. Contact Karen Helbrecht or Gordon Johnston by e-mail or phone 703-548-5784 to reserve a seat and for transit or driving directions.
