FSGW Co-Sponsored Dances
The 2009 Glen Echo Inaugural Ball

FSGW presents over 200 folk events in the Washington, DC area each year.

Concerts: Monthly programs (free to members), Special and House concerts.

Dances: Weekly Contra, English country and co-sponsored International dances.
Plus the monthly FSGW Family dances.

Group Activities: Monthly Sacred Harp, Gospel, and Open Sings, and Story Telling plus Workshops

Spring Sacred Harp Convention with scores of voices
Spring Chesapeake Dance Weekend with contras, square, and other dancing, dancing, dancing!

Fall Getaway with singing, jamming, workshops
Winter New Year's English Ball with English country dancing
Winter New Years Contra Ball with contras and other dancing
