Public Transportation: The closest bus is Ride-On Route 29, which connects from Friendship Heights Station and Bethesda Station on the Metro Red Line. Evening events normally end too late to catch a return bus, but talk to the FSGW people in charge, and we'll arrange a ride home, or at least back to the Metro.
Handicap Access: ADA access to the second floor (where FSGW events are held) is provided by a small, keyed elevator that opens to the parking lot behind the hall. If you need to use the elevator when attending a FSGW event, please contact the English Country Dance Committee (ecd@fsgw.org) no later than 12:00 noon on the day before the event so that we can make the necessary arrangements. There is a fully accessible unisex toilet on the second floor.
Parking: There is parking behind Town Hall, on Harvard Avenue in front of Town Hall, across MacArthur Boulevard on Annan Drive, and at the Glen Echo Park / Clara Barton House lot at Oxford Road and University Avenue. (These are suggestions from the town so that residents can park in front of their houses.) For handicapped patrons, there is 1 space behind Town Hall, and see the Handicap Access section above.
